Starship Worshippers (Insect Cult)

The illuminating glow from the end of the cave becomes obscured by someone walking past. As two robed mysterious persons approach the alter, a large insectoid like creature reveals itself from the cave walls. The fires appear to have already been lit, as if this timing had been planned. What do these two robed strangers plan to do and what could be the significance of this ancient looking creature.
