Mech Walker

A new addition to battlefield tactics in the late 22nd Century, this weaponized assault walker fits it's own niche in the vast scale of urban warfare. With possible attacks from multiple story buildings this walker stands at around 8 meters tall and was designed with high lift joints in its legs allowing for a variety of vertical attack vectors. These joints however remain vulnerable so most assault walkers may come equipped with a large armored shield that provides additional electronic counter measures. The advantage of legs over treads, although still the land traversal standard, allows for easy mobility within high density rubble and the better avoidance of ground explosives.
