A marine squadron patrolling on an alien planet had their radio engineer and transmission receiver swallowed by this large apex predator. After miles of chasing this alien knowing it has their best chance to maintain contact with orbit in this thick alien jungle, their specialized unit in higher grade power armor had managed to subdue the creature.
